Not going to lie, I'm really kind of disappointed he's not dressed like a dwarf. Seriously, how perfect would that have been?


Anyway, he doesn't remember anything, which is just fucking great, so I might have to lure him back to the Barge with a trail of snacks or whatever.

That explains why we couldn't find 'im, 'e weren't being 'imself. The Barge should pull 'im back before we leave, but you might keep an eye on 'im any road. This 'asn't quite been a normal week.

[Well. It can't be avoided. Chris is gonna figure out that Wasp is the same person who was the girl in Rorschach's room. The same one he's seen around the barge.

[A serious mindfuck.

Lisbeth is standing with her hood up, back leaning against the tavern wall, eyes watchful and analyzing. It's a strange place, here, and though she feels uneasy she realizes she can learn a lot here. More about magic, and finding the sweet spot between technology, magic and science to help her figure out the eternal mystery that is the barge.

But right now she has another priority (even though she continues to ask herself why the hell she's even bothering) and she's committed to it. She waits for Chris, certain she'll see him long before he sees her.

He isn't very good at blending in.]

Just by some tavern or whatever. I don't know where the fuck he wandered off to, but I figured I'd call you instead of stalking him.

[Chris is actually the worst at blending in. He's never met the Wasp in person, but experience in the internet plus inability to establish anon character identity has him picturing a guy in his mid-thirties, overweight, etc.

Which is probably why he walks right by Lisbeth, craning his neck around to look for, essentially, her.

At least he's out of costume, but jeans, trainers and a button-down are still pretty bad at blending into this environment]

[Lisbeth watches him, noticing how incredibly oblivious he is, and debates just walking away. This is ridiculous. What is she even doing.

But eventually, eventually, she steps towards him.]

[Chris twists around at the sound of his name, expecting anyone but...]

Oh, fuck. Hi.

[Nope. Hasn't quite clicked yet.]

It's me. [She sighs, eyes rolling up to the sky in a slow eyeroll.] Show me where Rorschach is.

...Oh bugger. That's the one with them dwarf miners that bet against us in that knife game. We didn't even bloody cheat that time. Anger issues, that lot.

[Lark can hear a match being lit in a car from two blocks away in his human form. He is about a half mile from Lisbeth now, maintaining distance, chasing a rabbit... but the mention of 'Rorschach' snags his attention fast.]
