Heads up, assholes. There's a new guy in charge here, and if any of you fuckers try to pull something that gets us in a worse place than we already are, you're going to have to answer to me.

Anyone wanna go Round One?

[A shing of metal noise hitting a block sounds through the comm: Chris is using an icepick lately as a weapon of choice, as opposed to his usual hand guns]

Slevin and Mindy, please report to the gym for training. Cassel, Petey, Scotty, and me are going to be playing a little four-on-two today.

Let's get these assholes graduated and get off this ship before it's ended.

[Also open for Spam, as Chris goes roaming the Barge to find his inmate]

Then get over here, dude.

[No answer; just a scrambling of his things as Chris is up and running for Scott's room. Even though he knew this was coming, he's extremely excited. He's wanted superpowers since he was four years old]

[He is going to get the doofiest superpowers. Scott waits, but when he hears, smells Chris in the hall, just outside the door, he opens it before the other teen can knock.]

Good time. You'll be able to cut that in half in a couple hours.

[He steps aside so Chris can walk in.]

Fuck yes!

[panting and out of breath, a bright-eyed teenage idiot walks through Scott's door and plops himself on the bed. And, like an asshole:]

So is this your first time? It's my first time. Be gentle.

[Scott allows it, even smiles as he closes the door. Then he's across the room faster than anyone should be able to move, and he's wrapping his hand - loosely, at least - around Chris's throat.]

You're about to be a werewolf, Chris. What do you think is gentle about that?

[Giving a startled, choking noise, Chris is already snarling as he grabs Scott's arm]

Asshole. I was kidding! Get off, I'm fucking around with you!

I'm not fucking around, Chris. We can goof off all we want later, but take this seriously.

[He manages to sound like he's chiding at best, but his hand stays where it is for a few moments more before finally letting go.]

Give me your arm.

[Glowering, Chris resists the urge to shove at Scott and instead holds out his arm for the other to take]

How much is this gonna hurt?

[He takes it in both hands, pushing a sleeve away from his forearm. He pauses as he lifts it to his mouth, to lift his eyebrows at Chris.]

I'm gonna bite you, dude. It kinda hurts.

[And without warning, he pulls Chris' arm up, opens his mouth, and bites down. It's not a nip: he pierces skin, bites deep but not bone deep. He avoids major veins, and when he pulls back, he lets go of Chris' arm.]

I'll heal by tomorrow.

Wait, lemme get ready-

[Chris is cut off, and starts swearing angrily]

Fuck! Ow! Fucking...ow.

[He twists to glare at Scott, examining the bite on his arm]

So what should I expect happening? Is that it?

[He's not bothered by the glare, grinning as he walks to his adjoined bathroom. He rifles through the medicine cabinet for a moment before coming back with gauze and tape.]

That's it, dude. Give it a day. You're gonna have some weirdass dreams and you might sleep walk.

[Actually, that will just be Scott fucking with him. But it's entertaining, and it was done to him, so he likes to pay it forward.]

Then you're gonna hear shit you couldn't hear before, smell stuff you never wanted to smell, and run faster than you ever could have.

[Rubbing his arm up and down, Chris scowls at the injury, but lightens as excitement and adrenaline race through him]

Oh yeah? Am I gonna be super strong?

[Scott pushes Chris' hand away from the bite, pressing gauze against the wound and taping it up. His hands could have been gentle, his efforts could have been careful, but he doesn't care. He's working out of pragmatism now, not compassion.]

Hell yeah, dude. I mean, don't try to lift a car, you'd probably throw out your back. But you're gonna wreck people.

Start with your inmate.

[Chris winces, but resists the urge to shove Scott off, scowling]

...Fuck yeah. He owes me.

I can't wait to see the look on his smug bitch face.

It's going to be terror.

[When he's done, he steps back, still smiling down at Chris in the most self-satisfied way possible.]

You're going to fuck him up, man.

[Chris ruffles his hair in an effort to make himself appear more wild and wolf-like, grinning]

Fuck yeah, I am.

This feels awesome. I know, I know it hasn't kicked in yet, but...fuck.
