Creed attacked Cassel today. Cassel's dead. I'm putting him in Zero and I'm going to put steps in place to make sure he doesn't get the chance to get at anyone again. Don't really have a whole hell of a lot to say aside from that, but just..be aware, I guess. He's a dangerous creep and I don't have a full handle on him yet. Obviously. This one's my fuck-up, guys. I'm owning it. I should've planned better for this shit. Just..bare with me while I get the hang of this. [Private to Dillon] I need you to help bring him back. Please.

[It takes him a while to be able to respond. He doesn't want to, at first. His first instinct is absolutely to blame Chris. He's Vic's warden, Cassel's boyfriend -- if it were him, Mickey thinks, he would have never let this happen.

Except that eventually, he remembers that this could easily be him but for the grace of God. Where Chris has Cassel and Vic, Mickey had Ian and Jerry. Maybe Mickey had thought first, tried harder -- put himself between the two of them whenever he could, made some bullshit truce that Jerry could have torn through like tissue paper if he'd wanted to -- but if the vampire had had it in his head to fuck with him like this, Mickey would have been just as helpless as Chris is now.]
